"The Minnorep, a battery-powered 8mm sound motion-picture projector with a built-in screen, has been developed by Newman & Guardia Ltd., of Great Britain, which manufactures the machine for Moviecol Sales Ltd. The projector is distributed in the United States and Canada by Graflex Inc., 3750 Monroe Ave., Rochester, N. Y. Said to be especially suitable for sales presentations, the projector weighs 16lb and measures 13 x 6 x 5,5 in. The battery carries a charge sufficient for the average day's use and it can be recharched overnight from any 110 v line source. The film is standard 8 mm with magnetic soundtrack in a continuous loop cassette. It is priced at $ 359" (Journal of the SMPTE, vol. 73, August 1964, p. 748).
