"Pour la première fois en France les caméras Mansfield USA 8 mm, qualité, robustesse, élégance et des prix imbattables. Meter Matic, posemètre micro-électronique incorporé, réglage parfait de l'exposition par dispositif à coïncidence, tourelle à trois objectifs : normal, grand angulaire et téléobjectif, objectifs f. 1,8 et corrigés pour la couleur, filtres de conversions A et anti UV incorposés, prix 600 NF avec poignée" (Cinéma pratique, n° 37, novembre 1961).
"1. Load the camera. 2. Wind the spring fully. 3. Select lens. 4. Adjust lens opening dial by matching needles in finder. 5. Select proper filter. 6. Frame subject in view finder. 7. Press operating lever (downward) or use cable release. [...] Select the lens, normal, telephoto (Gruenex) or wide angle (Raydex) to be used, and rotate the turret so that the lens is in the taking position. This is done by grasping the lenses and rotating the turret in either direction. When adjusted correctly, the turret will click in position. The lens selected should be directly beneath the honeycomb electric eye window. [...] Film speed settings : your Holiday MeterMatic has a built in film speed dial providing 4 film speed settings from ASA 10, 16, 25 & 40, and DIN 11, 13, 15, 17. Merely set the dial for the speed rating supplied with the film. For example, Daylight Kodachrome is rated at ASA 10. Set the film speed dial to ASA 10 and your MeterMatic eye is automatically set for Daylight Kodachrome color film. [...] It is possible at the end and beginning of a scene to fade in and out. At the end of scene rotate the dial to F 16 to fade out. At the beginning of a scene the dial is set F 16 and dial rotated until needles match. [...] Your Holiday MeterMatic camera has been manufactured with the finest materials available and under normal use should give you many years of trouble free enjoyment.
