Marques : "16 mm Cinklox Model FM7 Mfd. by Cincinnati Clock & Instrument Co. Cincinnati Ohio U.S.A."
"The Cincinnati Clock & Instrument Co. was established in 1914 and commited itself to the fabrication of machinery components as well as stock clocks. In 1938, the electrical engineers Seitz and Goldsmith registered a patent for a portable circuit-breaker chart timer that would also be built by the US manufacturer. The company's first 16 mm movie camera, the "Cinklox Model 3-S", entered the American market as early as 1937. This machine was characterized by having three running speeds and a C-mount lens thread. With only a few modifications, the "Cinklox Model 7 FM" came onto the shelves in 1950. In 1961, it is said there was also a "Compendica Photo Movie Camera", which could be set up as a projector too. The company moved from Cincinnati to Bellevue, Kentucky, in 1967 and started manufacturing digital codification machine as well as tooling fixtures. Today, the firm is based in Ontario, California" (Jürgen Lossau, Der Filmkamera Katalog, Hamburg, Atoll Medien, 2003, p. 199).
