Phenakistiscope (The) or Wheel of life, 12 copper plates designed by Cruikshank for Fuller's Temple of Faney, Piccadilly, exhibited revolving by steam at the old Polytechnic, Regent Street, republished by Edwin Pearson in 1870 ; comic subjects, Patent Mill to Grind old Ladies into Girls, Changeable Faces, Giotto, finely engraved Copperplate subject, the Crucifixion, &c., with several steel plates from Fairburn's Memories of Prince Albert, Madame Rosina as Columbine, Dick Turpin, Shepherd's London Views, &c. Some of the Steels are injured by damp. 13 Copper and 15 Steel Plates."
