Passing on

Passing on

One of the Cinémathèque Française’s key priorities is to pass on the taste and desire for cinema. It takes all audiences in to consideration, be they children, teens or adults. Through its programming of films, its exhibitions, its training opportunities, conferences and workshops, it allows people to discover an approach to cinema in all its different facets:  that cinema is a unique artform – it has a culture, aesthetic, and practice all of its own. It also has a history, but one which is constantly under scrutiny, and one which is always in the process of reinventing itself. Amongst the many education projects delivered by the Cinémathèque Française over the last 20 years, Cinema Cent Ans De Jeunesse has developed a specific, practical and innovative training initiative at a European and international level.

In 2015 the French National Minister of Education granted the project his patronage
