Europa cinemas
Europa Cinemas is the first network of cinemas with a mainly European program. On the website, sorted by country, are gathered resources for young audience. 

ECFA : Association européenne du cinéma pour l'enfance et la jeunesse

Xavier Lardoux report :
 For a European politic of film education
To answer Aurélie Filipetti’s wish who was the French culture minister in 2013, Frédérique Bredin, Centre national du cinéma et de l'image animée (CNC) chairman, entrusted Xavier Lardoux, who was at that time Deputy CEO of UniFrance to increase and develop the Film education plans.

European Framework (framework for film education in Europe)
Goal : create a cinema education framework to support film education in countries where there is a lack. Involving 18 countries, the project is directed by the BFI (British Film Institute), and the conclusions have been published on June 19th 2015, at la Cinémathèque française.

Film education programs supported by Creative Europe (in which Cinéma, cent ans de jeunesse partners participate) :

  • European Framework (framework for film education in Europe)
    In 2014-15, 25 partners (institutions and educative organizations) composed a film education board to assess film education in Europe and draw up a common framework in Austria, Czech Republic, France, Denmark, United Kingdom (England and Scotland), Germany, Sweden, Hungary, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Cyprus. 

  • ABCinéma
    The aim of ABCinéma is to support and help tomorrow’s cinephile to discovers the masterpieces of European heritage thanks to events and workshops created by the six project partners in Belgium, France, Italy and United Kingdom.

  • Moving cinéma
    Help young people to discover European auteur cinema, through screenings, meetings, program and film practices workshops : Spain, Lithuania, Portugal, and (since 2015-16) France and Scotland.

  • CINED : European Film Education Program
    Creation of a digital platform and a collection of European films brought together with pedagogical resources and training packages for teachers and mediators. Seven countries and partners are involved: Spain, Portugal, Italy, Romania, Bulgaria, Czech Republic and France.
