Climate

Weather and climate are an essential question of cinema: Far from being a simple element of a cinematic shot, they are very a much part of the writing of the story we see, and the landscape we behold. It’s a core part of cinema itself, with the colours, light and atmosphere that each weather event proposes.

Resources

A film presenting the question’s stakes, a sequence analysis, film extracts organised according to categories that can be watched online as well as a still images portfolio (photos, paintings). These elements can be put in an index and gathered in the personal space.

Examples

Within the workshops, students from primary schools, secondary schools and high schools attempted short sequences (exercises) before making a film reflecting on their journey through the year with this question in mind. These elements can be put in an index and gathered in the personal space. Through a sharing dimension, this space can welcome new reported experiences.
